YouTube, Microsoft and Twitter release transparency reports

On April 24, 2018, YouTube published its first “enforcement report”, detailing its content removal practices during the last quarter of 2017. The report shows that over 80% of the 8.2 million videos YouTube has removed were flagged through automated tools, of which 76% were removed before receiving a single view.

On April 5 and April 19, 2018, Twitter and Microsoft released their transparency reports
