Japan government asks ISPs to voluntarily block websites offering access to copyright infringing content

On April 13, 2018, the Japanese government decided on an emergency measure to restrict access to websites providing copyright-infringing access to anime and manga, asking for help from internet service providers (ISPs) "on a voluntary basis."
